Here’s a couple of questions I’m weeding through at the moment and would LOVE to get some responses on how you saints deal with these. I’m not exactly looking for input on how you think I should deal with them, but what are some steps YOU take for your own personal life?
- How do I keep attention off me and constantly point it to Jesus?
- How can I utilize my gifts to the fullest capacity to grow the Kingdom of God?
- How do I work in American Christianit and still remain Kingdom minded: i.e.–fully giving up all of myself, sharing with others, and putting others needs before myself?
I am intentional about all three of those things. It takes work, and there’s not an easy answer. When it comes down to it, I just have to DO IT!
I am intentional with my moments and days. Intentionally pointing to Jesus, intentionally using my gifts for God’s purposes, and intentionally being Kingdom minded.
The central idea here is that Christ is the end-all and be-all. The purpose. The point. All the rest is just stuff. It’s scary how easy it is to neglect that idea in the minor moments of my day. So, I choose to remember it. And I choose to live it. Even when I fail, I choose.
